At the end of the war, Poland was handed over to the USSR without so much as a protest. So much for defending Poland. The point is that regardless of your opinions on Nazi Germany or Russia, western meddling is what has caused war to break out. It is the same everywhere -- such as in the middle east. Funding the "freedom fighters" against the USSR in Afghanistan who would become the Taliban and Al Qaida. Funding the Syrian rebels who would become ISIS.The US, Britain, NATO can't help themselves but stick their fingers in every pie they can and make the situation much worse than it would be otherwise.
