       @PamelaBarrowayThere are quite a few groves to choose from. If you make it up to Crescent City, it's rather easy to find this spot -- park at mile marker 16 pullout on US101 just below Crescent City. A trail leads to the intersection of the Last Chance trail (easy somewhat level 5 mile hike) and the Damnation Creek trail (1100 ft down to a beach below), about 1/4 mile from the pullout. 9am to 10am are good times to hope for coast mist. Boy Scout Trail is also a good hike -- less traffic noise.
