@MountainJay @Djeep and usually it is people who say things like “I’m not a trained teacher, I don’t have a degree to teach” when you mention you homeschool your own kids. They seem to feel that if they aren’t qualified, there’s no way you are qualified either. A large chunk of education degrees are spent in how to manage a classroom, anyway, not how to teach all the different types of learners.

@MountainJay @Djeep I love the “unnecessarily defensive” one lol.I really try to mix with people who send their kids to school but it is usually difficult because of this kind of thing.
