Gargamel shut down the forum at https://discourse.joinmastodon.org/ because he didn't think there was value in a place for #MastoAdmin to talk to each other about issues, tips, strategies to grow the networked community.We can't effectively collaborate over a hashtag without repeating ourselves over and over.Does anyone want to volunteer to start up a new Discourse forum to take its place?You will win 1 Internets if so.

@sheogorath @tyr Yeah, but having the room on https://Matrix.org means that users in some countries (like China 🇨🇳) would be unable to participate as the domain is blocked (see https://www.ChinaFireWallTest.com for details).Better to use a server with a different domain.

@alxsim @downey Yes I've created a forum for Fediverse Admins.Also, I've made a thread there for inventarisation of all communication channels, there are too many (Matrix rooms, Discords etc). @lamp @downey The github discussions seems more like a technical form but I think this for more a administration policy, moderation philosophy discussion, networking type form that OP is speaking of.Having both on the github wouldn't work well possibly unless @Gargron adds a new category there
