       The valley oak in the front had to be trimmed. I tried to honor it with this bowl. I really like that tree.

       @Woodbutcher thanks! I was definitely worried about turning such green wood, but i coated it in tallow to slow the drying process and so far it hasn't cracked or warped too much. (I don't have a kiln yet otherwise I would have twice turned it.)

       @Nateabate You can also place it in a paper bag with its shaving to help with the slow down of drying
