@RehnSturm256 Haha, the correct choice of Elden Ring for GOTY. I went from apathetic to amused. But, it's not just that... Elden Ring winning GOTY is a very important thing in the AAA space. Remember that in the west, AAA devs are massive ego whores. Not only did a foreign title win the *biggest* title, it was a game that didn't hold the player's hand and treat them like children. It flew in the face of everything the diversity hires designing western games were taught. No quest log, no waypoints cluttering your screen, no help, large punishments and penalties for mess ups, and no microtransactions (battle pass or otherwise).

@ChristiJunior @RehnSturm256 Lol at anyone expecting them to actually award it anything. Note that the medley rep, the only slightly positive feature, was brief and underwhelming. Otherwise it's 3 hours of pure excrement.
