@tek Such an agreement also functions as a sort of reverse treaty. Instead of saying that if an instance violates the agreement, they all will agree to take punitive action, signatories agree not to take actions to protect their users unless a self-appointed third party agrees with the claims.It's disempowering and reduces safety.
