@stux My kids got the SNES as a gift the year before, so at our house 1995 was all about Donkey Kong and Mario...and we still played a lot of Castlevania

@stux this lady, her haircut, the set that they built for this presentation, CRT TVs remind me so much of my childhood. I wonder what those kids in the video are upto these days and i hope that lady is still carrying the same haircut. :blobcat:

@stux Those were the simpler timesā¦ or not, when we had so many options between consoles. I kinda miss that time and age, when new names could join the market.Production of games costs so much now, that unless we make games shorter and reduce dev costs, we can never have risky titles, or new contenders like that ever.

@stux so many consoles! The PlayStation and Saturn were definitely the two main camps in my school. Specifically remember Warhawk on PS and Panzer Dragoon on Saturn. The other console brands were too niche for us to be aware of outside of magazines. My freshman year in HS when N64 launched though that ruled the after-school with near constant 4-player NWA vs WCW and Goldeneye bouts.
