Even in superhero shit like The Boys, the REAL power the female characters have is knowing exactly what to say to set some guy off, because they can read his psychology."But then some guy came along, fucked her, ruined her life, and now she enthusiastically does whatever he says while he abuses her and she doesn't even realize it" takes their biggest fantasy and turns it into the biggest fear of those same women: that they not only aren't as smart as they think they are, but they can get completely mindfucked by their bad decisions and never even accept it.So it has to stay permanently resolved.
