@stux on one had, yeah, seems funny.on the other… my guess is most of the projects in history were like that: too expensive too early, only cherished by their «developers», whose names we don't even know most of the time, because one day much later the technology would be ripe for someone else to (re)introduce it successfully.that's how we have automobiles, aeroplanes, conputers, and this incredibly small and smart phone i'm typing this on.

@stux Nobody wants to be stuck in a "verse" with cartoon Mark. He's creepy enough in real life. If his ego was smaller, he would have had cartoon Penelope Cruz introduce Metaverse to the world and it would have been a hit. Perhaps, the biggest marketing flub in modern history.

@stux It's a try at failing forward. The previous business model started to go down the drain, had to do something big to stay relevant. We'll see if it works, it's not impossible, even if very much looks like that right now. But I don't like that company, so I won't be rooting for their success.
