Everybody has limited amount of time, so to get rich, you have to be useful to many people at once. This was complicated in the past, but it's much easier nowadays thanks to the internet. Therefor we can see much more super rich people than in the past. Empathy is extreme advantage, because it'll help you find out, what people need and how you can be useful to them.

Filthy rich show/have very little empathy because they get surrounded by sycophants and lose touch with reality. Private planes, yachts and yes-men are not reality. People are getting super rich because tax laws allowed them to pay little tax, billionaires could not have happened decades ago.

It is difficult to defraud enough money to be filthy rich from private enterprises, because they will defend their money. The state does not have own money, so it does not defend the people's money enough. It makes them the lowest hanging fruit instead. The more money the state has, the more billionaires.

@tom @markmetz @SharonDanielleB @jimstewartson @Mac_CZ You start a company, don't pay well. Company succeeds, you rake in $, don't increase pay of the hard workers who made your company a success. Filthy rich are great manipulators and BS artists. And they make a practice of intimidation, blackmail, legal threats to get what they want, to keep others in their place. Some out and out break laws, knowing they can just throw money at problems to not be accountable.
