Yes, I know, a documentary just came out on Amazon Prime about my book Creating Christ on the origins of Christianity. It's a red-pill way too far for most. Many will not want to watch it, and good for them! It was the product of 30 years of personal research and certainly is not for everyone. But it's not the most important point of common ground. That certainly needs to be understood. Freedom is everyone's birth-right. It's in our very nature.

And that includes the freedom to question religions handed down from ancient oppressive societies. So, Christianity contributed an invaluable respect for individual salvation, but could it have invested the state with unchallenged authority? Could it, like other forms of tyranny, oppress the questioning mind?
