       @projectdp I still don't use NixOS, but repeatability, deps isolation and declarativeness are what I really envy from Nix/Guix

       @primalmotion Yes it seems to have the desired state declarative approach that something like Puppet/Chef/Salt configuration management solutions have, along with the atomic changes and fast rebuilds that you get with Docker, all creatively applied to a package management system.

       @projectdp yeah. It's been tempting me for a few years now. But I'm still too lazy to learn the packaging language, config framework and start from scratch. But I'm sure it'll happen :)
