Currently this instance blocks no other instances, has no MRF policies, and I as its only user have no active blocks and only one active mute (a markov bot that comes into conversations unsolicited with a bunch of annoying spam.)The misskey forkbomb drama and the following activitypub-troll drama made me think about this: I was able to ignore them only because Pleroma/Akkoma instances were unaffected. Yet looking at https://fba.ryona.agency/?domain=misskey-forkbomb.cf I can see quite a few Pleroma/Akkoma instances on here, so either those admins know something that I don't, or they're blocking the domain in the hopes of helping to curb its reach to other, more vulnerable instances, or they're simply blocking the domain as a symbolic gesture.I bring this up because I instinctively want to reject the notion of "common law" on the fediverse at all: being blunt, the idea of consensus-building on fedi leaves a bad taste in my mouth, even when it's over technical issues (e.g. "It's bad faith use of ActivityPub to refuse to process deletes or blocks properly.") So I was wondering if there are any examples where it legitimately has arisen holistically and consistently, and the forkbomb incident seems like it's the closest thing to it.IDK in the end I guess this is just spitballing, sorry
