       @art copyright is a spook so I'm not especially sympathetic toward artists here, but I still am not a big fan of the AI art trend. I feel like they're just pushing out huge amounts of low quality crud on to the 'net.

       @art depends on the tool. It’s possible to make them ethically, but most of the ones that make it big recently are stealing art for their models and keeping facial data from their users in perpetuity

       @art I'm not keen on giving a clearcut answer here like you're asking for.I guess to me it comes down to: Don't treat it as a replacement for human artists, and when viewing them please take the perspective that AI is an exaggerated expression of modern cultures' faults.
