Did you know you can talk to yourself on Signal?Years ago, we built Note to Self to hold your to-do-list, let you send photos from your phone to your Signal Desktop app, or note a friend’s recommendation. Use it for whatever it is you want or need to remember.If you’re sending yourself passwords or copies of important documents, consider turning on disappearing messages, too.

@signalapp It's very useful and i love that feature. I find myself most often using it when needing to email a photo i took with my phone. I attach it, send it to myself, open it up on Signal Desktop on Linux or Qubes OS and then email using ProtonMail w/ ProtonBridge in Thunderbird. Easy Peasy. :)

@signalapp However, a pure local notes group does not exist. You have to create a normal group in which you are only a member. Notes can then be stored there......correct?
