       @tek I would be angry now that my license is void if I didnt stop using irc 3 years ago :crychkat3r:. Still pretty much awful.

       @tek @SolSoCoG I don't think I've really used IRC since BitchX fell out of popularity (maybe one it twice just to pop in on old channels) ..I see their point, but the real issue is vague wording then, just like it's vague wording now.. they would do themselves a favor to explain the situation AND be better with the lesson learned about fine print.. Because right now, it sounds like that lesson wasn't actually learned

       @tek FL Studio has a solution I consider fair. If you buy a licence, you can use the latest version forever. But if they add something new after you've bought your license, you may have to extend your license to use that as well.

       @tek @SolSoCoG I last used mIRC in '97 though I kept slapping people around a bit with a large trout for a while longer. 😜 No going back after discovering irrsi+screen (later tmux).
