@TrellisHugo335 @arts @netdoll anyways the actual answer is that the Fourth International is (NOMINALLY) an international union of trotskyists. the first internationale was a mostly label-less union of anarchists, communists, trade-unions and all manner of left-revolutionares under the IWAinevitably, it split, what with anrachists and communists in fact wanting different non-compatible things no matter how much pretension there is to be had about "left unity", and every international since then has been much the same. trostylists claimed to be the fourth because the third was Comminter/Comminform, which was by all accounts a body for soviet foreign influence on communist movementsthere are no more internationals, and for what i believe, there won't ever again be one but in jest and mockery
