the religion that's practiced out here is really neat. Obviously i am going to reform it to make it so women take inheriting rights over men, but the rest of the flavor is really cool. you can go on hikes to get enlightment and hunt whales in a ritual to use all their parts.

a few generations down the line when I'm more established and all of galapagos is united into a kingdom I think my next goal will be trying to get control of the panama canal so I can play the brazilian empire and all the americanist sects against each other

one of my favorite ways to play this is starting your first ruler off as a baby or child so they aren't fully developed personality wise, then RPing them based on the childhood traits they receive

@vriska Does this shit also come with terrifying sound effects? Like in CK2 when you pick "execute all prisoners" and you just hear a baby screaming as it dies because of course i had a child in my prison
