       Today, in great dialogues at work:- Them: This PC works with Debian 11, but reboots when you start Gnome...- Me: How many are we going to order for this project again? 🤔 - Them: About... 250... 😱 - Me: 😱 - Them: Wait! It was the power supply that was defective, if we replace it the PC is stable!- Me: Next time, can we decide on hardware BEFORE starting working on the project?- Them: But then, we would have to... to... standardize in advance?- Me: THAT IS HOW YOU DO THINGS! 🤬

       @mavnn This is hardware - not software.You CANNOT sprint and scrum  yourself out of a hardware problem, especially when it is one that comes from your supplier and not your internal dev teams.Fun fact: this is just one of 5 or 6 hardware issues we have on this particular project.Yes, it is a train wreck.

       @ParadeGrotesque oof. I feel this so much. I was recently told I would be informed of what our digital document procedure would be AFTER it was completed. My comment was, well what if there are technical issues with what's being proposed?

       @ParadeGrotesque hardware is always fun like that. Of course, you can also get yourself into a lot of trouble on software projects if you decide that agile really means refusing to do your homework and procrastinating every decision until it's a crisis to "stay flexible".
