@EU_Commission This measure is long overdue. European Democracy will die if the European Union doesn’t eradicate the fascism-disguised-as-choice of the Hungarian and Polish governments. Fidesz and PiS underhanded maneuvers to dismantle the rule of law and separation of powers by imposing pseudo-legislation is not only lethal but irreversible. That chicanery and its associated corruption are not different from Putin’s tyrannical rule.

@EU_Commission great to hear.While I know two countries are on probably soon to join the EU, I do think it will be good to first have a system in place to properly punish countries that don't follow EU law, before actually inviting more countries to the EU.

@EU_Commission As a hungarian I am happy that finally there are some consequences to the behaviour of our government, but I would be much happier if the city councils could apply for this money directly. Without the influence of the government.
