@lminiero Not intentional at all, but Van Halen (Roth/Hagar eras) were definitely an influence on me way before grunge and emo got their hooks into me. (Van Halen was also my first ever rock concert in 1993)

Still, I'm already hearing Boogeyman in my head with about half the bassists playing the rhythm guitar riff and the other half rocking that bassline. @killyourfm I can appreciate too, that you might but feel comfortable uploading to existing FunkWhale servers too (as a fellow musician registered with BMI). Many of the instances require something akin to a CC-BY license, and so I only uploaded a couple of older songs if mine.Self-hosting will ensure you can retain all if your own rights and won't piss off your publisher lolz.I will make sure to give a listen on Bandcamp tomorrow, however 🙂#tallship ⛵.
