@stux I just deactivated my Twitter acct because I can't handle the crazyness and first thing I see when I logged in here was your waterfall. I go out of my way to find waterfalls when I travel so this feels like a very good omen.

@stux The falls are beautiful all year round - I live here and hike it often. A wildfire nearly destroyed the area and the lodge about two years ago. Fortunately, fire crews could keep it at bay, but it was a close call. Thanks for sharing this beauty.

@stux I hiked up to the top of those falls in my Evolution class in undergrad. We were looking at natural selection where fish that grow too big are pushed over the falls. Pretty cool class!

@stux I think the wettest Iāve ever been, outside of a shower or a pool, was standing on that bridge in a pooring rain. Had a windbreaker, which I had thought to be rainproof. I was sadly mistaken. I was quite a ways beyond soaked to the skin, and chilly to boot. It was Thanksgivingday, about 4 yrs ago.

@stux Multnomah is epic, at least it looks like the greenery is coming back after that vicious fire. We took the trail to the lookout point at the top of the falls for some epic views when visiting. Though I dont know if the lookout survived the fire. Beautiful placeš
