@kallisti @MischievousTomato @netdoll @rats at the end of the day i can get so hung up on the fact that people think im negligent / scum / causing harm / whatever and i want to convince them im not, and the thing im remembering / learning is that - a "certain category of person" was categorically the only demographic i was completely unable to have any constructive communication with. i've had a number of good conversations with anyone you could point to, kf eris even, except for the type of ppl that were on monads/types/cybre/etc - this has not changed in essence, but i need to re-learn where exactly these boundaries lie because i keep getting sucked into these discussions, keep trying to find the perfect way to express myself that cant be taken in good faith, and its because im trying to do work for an audience that will never want to see the work that i dowork i do needs to be for myself and the ppl around me and the ppl that show up to look at the work. its such a lovely surprise whenever someone completely unexpected shows up and gets affected by it, and it is absolutely, absolutely only getting more and more important that some space like this exists as a social arcology that doesnt get sucked into the fucking retard-mud that is almost everywhere else i look and flooding aroundlets have somefun
