@verita84 @eris @jeff @animeirl You buy the game at a store, and use a Switch with custom firmware to copy the files to your SD Card. You don’t have to pirate games.

@verita84 @eris @jeff @animeirl you can copy updates to the SD Card as well. I even have the legend of Zelda breath of the wild DLC being emulated.

@root @eris @animeirl @jeff @verita84 that said I don’t pirate current gen games as I can afford them and want to make sure the developers keep publishing new games. Previous gen games (not even for sale anymore) are fair game.

@verita84 @eris @jeff @animeirl If you copy the unique cartridge/download specific certificates (an encrypted and signed serial number) and a few additional files you can even play online. There’s no reason not to emulate at this point.
