Happy 35th Birthday in November to #DNS itself!I missed this earlier in the month, but on 1st November 1987 the DNS protocols first officially came into existence. Or, the standards (called “RFCs”) were published, RFC 1034 and RFC 1035.The standards were called “Domain names - concepts and facilities” and “Domain names - implementation and specification” and the basic way the DNS operates is still largely the same today. Pretty impressive for something created all that time ago.https://blog.verisign.com/domain-names/35-years-dns-protocol/
