@n3f_X the first ten seasons of south park are some of the greatest television. the movie is one of the best animated musicals ever made. it's the only thing i get boomer nostalgic for.there are so many episodes that you remember fondly as distinct plots, but turn out to be A/B plots from the same episode that both hit as S+ in memory.At some point they get big headed and start deliberately attempting to be "memetic" and really cinematic, that's when it falls apart. Modern era "Zombie" South Park has no teeth, they are too pussy to deliberately offend anyone.

@josh @n3f_X Back in the day, South Park was genuinely transgressive. That created boundaries that they had to run right up against while still being creative enough to retain an audience. Now they can get away with whatever they want, so why try? Plus, despite their posturing, Hollywood got to them. They got assimilated.

I'm not convinced. I've been previously exposed to anime and weebs, and a lot of their subculture and mannerisms have seeped into their surroundings, so I probably say some shit that comes off as red flags as well. I do like some games out of Nuke Island, but can't handle anime shit; even a lot of the cutscenes, dialogue, character designs, etc in said games has me trying to skip past it to get to the gameplay.

It's really not unreasonable or cartoonish to not be into watching scantly-clad, screeching little anime girls, other degeneracy and autism, my dude. Closest I can get to liking an anime is BeBop, and the two badly written and designed female characters in the main cast are unbearable. Just not into screeching tards and juvenile caricatures of smug whores, simple as. The absolutely cringe-inducing mannerisms and tropes certainly don't help.
