       @FortyTwo Mask wearing in the operatory was always accepted to block the fall of hairs and spittle from coughs/sneezes. The biggest life saver in surgical medicine was topical antiseptic and post operative antibiotics.

       @FortyTwo There have been various studies in the past concluding the same. Masks are useless, even the proclaimed “surgical masks” in operating theaters. Wearing masks because of a perceived pandemic actually works against your own health.

       That’s correct! After the propaganda, we forgot what we used to know. Three years ago, if anyone said they were wearing a mask so as not to get sick, they’d be sent to an asylum. It’s pure bullshit. Droplets, from sneezing by a sick person, could probably be reduced. It just makes sense on the face of it, but if it’s really true, I haven’t seen actual reports about such findings.

One doctor once compared it to throwing sand at a chain link fence. Completely useless. Just like many studies from the past already concluded. It’s nothing new.
