Context: It was believed that using the phone’s USB port while the keyboard is attached would result in rather bad things but Megi disproved it here https://xnux.eu/log/#072 and now I was finally courageous enough to try it myself. Just make sure not to use both ports at once!

@phalio out of curiosity when did you buy the keyboard/battery case? I got one in the first batch, but managed to (physically) break it pretty early on. I'm wondering if later batches changed and its worth another try

@Eninic@fosstodon.org Mine is from the first batch too. I’ve been using it a lot and it still works as well as it did when it arrived. They did make changes with later batches but the only change I know of is the top row issue being fixed.

@phalio thanks. I seemed to break the pogo pin pad. Maybe I was just unlucky. The top row experience wasn't fantastic but I would probably have lived with it
