@r000t Time to look into alternatives if you aren't already folks. This isn't a new issue overall, just new types of bs added onto existing problems. Smart minds have forseen this in at least 2018:https://jxself.org/titanic.shtmlPower9 would be most ideal followed by RISC-V and then maybe ARM.

@r000t Sounds like, instead of marketing failed Core i9s as i7s, they'll market successful i9s as i7s and charge to "unlock" the full i9 functionality, or something like that.Yet another symptom of the infinite race to the bottom.

@r000t I'm seriously interested in an ARM PC. Efficiency is brutal and competition is nice. But is there even a working alternative to Apple M1?
