it is indeed very annoying that looking at a fediverse profile doesn't work without jscws don't expand (we have detail+summary!) and i think there's some fork or alt software that only shows a blank page

@eevee that’s not ideal, but I think an easy compromise: a lightweight ActivityPub viewer that can either be accessed as an URL or as a browser extension

@eevee welp, yes but as a long time user and instance self-hoster I know this stuff does not always work as intended and getting things upstream is ridiculously slow if even accepted – absolutely try pushing back, I’m just offering a faster way around

@gabboman the problem isn't my instance, which i already implicitly trust; the problem is landing on 50 other instances i've never heard of and not being able to read /10 lines of text/ without enabling code execution
