       @mark There are times that a video is really necessary, but I find that most videos don't meet that standard.I've seen, eg, excellent videos on machining processes, where the machinist describes the process as he's performing it. You simply can't get the same result without the motion-picture. Even a detailed series of stills won't link up as well, and will take more time to process.But for most purposes, text with limited images is faster to process, and allows true random access.
