       @kjr @auschwitzmuseum It freaking happened. I went to Dachau and saw the buildings, the pictures. I'm glad Auschwitz Museum is on Mastodon to preserve the accounts of this horror and not let it be dismissed as a warning against man's inhumanity to man.

       @kjr @auschwitzmuseum In 1982/83, I read a book, borrowed from my friend. The horrors of the holocaust were forever seared in my heart. The title of that harrowing book never left my mind. 32 years later, in 2014, I ordered the book (used) via Amazon to NigeriaThe 1st page of that book has an autograph signature of the author. It's now one of my most treasured book in my collection. I'm almost afraid to reread it. But, one day, I'll read it again. The Holocaust Kingdom~ Alexander Donat

       @kjr @auschwitzmuseum   Visited Auschwitz in 2016. Very sobering to the horror that can be perpetrated upon another race for no apparent reason.
