@dj@rojogato.com Apparently his packages keep breaking and pacman is shit. Can totally relate 😩Also excellent oppurtinuty to dunk on Arch and it's fanboys πŸ˜†inb4 @10leej@mstdn.starnix.network tells us to install Gentoo.

@rootbsd @dj @10leej I don't understand why pacman is to blame. This kind of thing happens on other package managers too.

@rob@mstdn.starnix.network @dj@rojogato.com @10leej@mstdn.starnix.network Yeah that too, but pacman really is trash though. It's only redeeming quality is that it's fast :thinkin:

@neo@pl.comfysnug.space @dj@rojogato.com @10leej@mstdn.starnix.network It was kinda slow, and I wasn't feeling cinnamon on the PC. I like lxqt, yes I'm aware I can just install it on mint, but Lubuntu has the best rice of lxqt and runs really well on my hardware.

@rootbsd I have a relatively high end gaming computer so it all runs the same for me. I think lxqt is the lightest environment you can run that isn't a tiling wm. maybe openbox or w/e?@dj @10leej
