@freemo @koyu so many questions even just from a technical standpointwhy'd they suspend Koyu? they sent just one email didn't they? why is a supposed technical list so aggressive (from all sides) instead of being collected and factual?why is does it appear that for a seemingly vital mailing list that can bully broad moderation policy onto the fedi, its own moderation policy isn't an evidence based multiparty vote?i'd want to see receipts in such a list, am I misunderstanding something?

@freemo @koyu hmm, i looked through the archive, i have to admit that the mailing list doesn't seem very influential/popular, and actually this was indeed way off topic from the typical (entirely technical) conversation. i do think that banning koyu off a single email is rather harsh, i probably wouldn't have started a moderation topic on an infra/tech list, sounds like most people in the topic would be warranted for temp suspension due to behaviour

@freemo it is indeed a problem that the mod didn't simply close the convo but also had to add vitriol to it. Interesting that Johansen also had to be dragged in and labeled a nazi too, when he just said (in an albeit lengthy way) that the list isn't for mod problems lol@koyu

@freemo @koyu Has Gargon even said his "side" of the story? 🤔 I mentioned it in a thread he was in and he responded once, asking what I was talking about, and then didn't say a word after I explained the situation. Most #Fediverse drama has two sides to the story. This one has one side, and bashful silence.(I'm not tagging him because I don't wanna badger him lol)
