       TIL: The epub file format is basically a compressed ZIP file, pretty much like a JAR, but containing HTML5 files + the required assets.

       Knowing that epubs are just compressed static websites, may I know why is there not a single web browser capable of handling epub files?

       @treguard I'm not asking how to read them. I could also decompress them on a web server and browse it if I really wanted to do that.I'm asking, why is it that web browsers don't support it.
