Even Lower Effort Cool Kids Lists just dropped! Now blocklists are being made with criteria such as "uses pleroma" or "uses soapbox". And remember, meta aggregate lists are now being made, which means that being in any of *these* lists makes you more likely to end up on *other* lists later on. Then, people will be told that these lists contain 100% horrible awful things and 0% false positives and to just apply them bro. I use the term "Iron Curtain" to describe the phenomenon. There are those who want to live under a repressive, censorious, feature-nerfed, controlling, highly-ideological bubble (Mastodoners---those on the other side of this "curtain").. and then there are those of us in the fediverse equivalent of a metaphorical "West". Not many people in the West during the Cold War upset that it was difficult or impossible to travel to Romania or Yugoslavia. Why be there when you could holiday to France or Japan? @r000t@ligma.pro
