       I need a new domain name for my new Mastodon/Pleroma instance. This one's social.crid.land - I wonder what the new one should be? fedi.crid.land or just s.crid.land perhaps? Hmm. soc.crid.land maybe.

       @GWFF @CSB I'm leaning towards soc.crid.land "social" with no vowels is "scl", but that isn't obvious enough. Not that anyone will really see it.

       @james  It's goin' to be interesting, to say the least, how this battle between the #fediverse and #twitter develops. In a way the whole ditty reminds me of microsoft's assimilation of Linux. Neither are dead now, are they? Yet, as far as exposure and mainstream adoption goes one has won out.Keep it short @James there's a virtual goldfish bowl us humans are living in.

       @GWFFWell, not always , sometimes longer internet  domain that is easy to remember or difficult to forget is better than short one that is more difficult Example: I had 7-letter east to remember .ai domain that I gave up by mistake and now I bought new .ai domain that is 4-letter long but more difficult to remember  @james
