       Responsible governance is hard. It requires good faith negotiation and compromise with political opponents, in the public interest. But the vast majority of the mob who soon will be in nominal control of the House don’t care about governing or the public interest, and have demonstrated that they are willing to violate their oaths of office in their extreme ideological, authoritarian positions.GOP’s campaign battle cry was anti-inflation and anti-crime. Correct me if I’m wrong, but so far I have heard only two solutions by Kevin McCarthy. First. he won’t raise the debt ceiling and second, he wants to gut Social Security. Medicare, and Medicaid. Both would plunge us into economic chaos. Nothing on crime.        @TonyStark I guess they think who needs a governing agenda when you can spend all your time with pointless investigations? They will be like Roman emperors toward the end of the empire, putting on games to distract the popuiation from noticing that the empire had fallen apart.

       @HopeVanDyne @TonyStark That have no platform,no issues to promote and nothing to help stem inflation.  All they can think about is H. Bidens laptop.  What ever happened to the Republicans balalancing the budget and keeping a lid on Gov. spending?
