       windows update related. affected terminals have 100% disk utilization.. lockups/freezes. active IO on files in the softwaredistribution folder (WU downloads). Deleting everything in that folder seems to help. Disabling WU service even better.

       Vendor called back finally saying we're not the only client with this problem and their hardware team is dealing with a slew of showstopper tickets. The workarounds I put in place are actually what they've been doing with their other customers.Good. It's no longer my problem. I'm sure they'll have a fix soon*sips coffee*  ☕
