       @ariadne Not sure if we are talking same thing here, but the German Federal Data Protection Office installed and operates its own Mastodon instance on which quite a lot of german gov  orgs have dedicated accounts. Even some regional governments did the same, running their own instances.Honestly, I like and I am flabbergasted a german public office moved away from fax and even onto something like the Fediverse.If you don't like, just don't follow them.
