       This is my #introduction. About 4 1/2 years ago, my spouse died of #leukemia. I was married for 20 years and I didn’t expect to be living this life solo. Now, I’m working on #rediscovering myself and finding out what this new version of me enjoys. I love reading about other people’s #hobbies because I’m inspired to try new things.        @angelleah I've been holed up for two years since my husband of 26 years died. I have no idea how to go about finding someone to datte. I won't do online algorithm-directed, data-harvesting sites, and I don't stay long in indoor spaces.

       @cosullivan @angelleah Widower of just over four years here, and recently the nest has emptied as well. I agree with Christina. I have no idea how to do dating again. I have no idea if I even want to. It is indeed a strange and unfamiliar feeling. All the best to you both.

       @mcornick @cosullivan I didn’t realize how triggered I would be by things after I started dating a man with kids. It’s hard to see family activities when I feel like I’ve lost that life. I’m also learning all about the insecure attachment style that I have. That’s tough because I felt so secure in my marriage due to decades together. It’s really been worth it though. It’s wonderful to be forming a close bond with someone after all these years alone.

       @angelleah @mcornick I have a close friendship with a heterosexual male. It is either my lifelong habit or a superpower. I am tempted, every time OpenVoIP hour is on #anonradio, except for Vintage Comp, to call and summon a panel to help me with my "like life."

       @cosullivan @angelleah @mcornick Is this the widows/widowers from 20+ year marriages club? I only had 19, so I don't know if I qualify.I have no advice regarding dating. I can't imagine what it's like dating in the modern world which, to me, has lost any semblance of sanity.I wish I even had interesting hobbies, but mostly my hobbies are all related to my kids. I edit their movies, read their books, help with their drawings, get supplies for their costumes, help with their projects..etc.
