       If Apple had delivered Pink and Jonathan by 1990? I wonder if we could have saved us decades from experimentation in circles, or else if we would have had to preserve backwards compatibility with very limited standards…

       @xerz I often wonder about A/UX and how it could have delivered what NeXTStep did, ten years earlier, but technology, advanced as it might be, can only go so far: the times (and markets) needs to be right, and you need people at the top with vision and will.
