@victor @Oecan @SirVo @jasonmashak there are real blind users here and if you never saw one, that's just you. I did. You can often tell by them not having a profile picture, but it's not a rule. They usually tell you about it right in the bio, too.

@piggo @victor @SirVo @Oecan But you can’t assume that the alt text is even working for everyone. I just tried another image in a new post and it’s not letting me add any alt text (iOS app). It only works sometimes, so don’t judge people based on whether they’ve done this or not.

@jasonmashak The default scroll bars on a lot of modern Linux DEs honestly suck. Way way way too small, and no scroll buttons. I'm glad it's easy to change (usually) but I hate that it's become the default.

@samgai Tell me about it!!! My current track ball doesn't have a scroll wheel, so I've gotta click'em and grip'em old school. And not only are modern scroll bars so hard to grab, but Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck infinite scroll sucks without a scrollwheel. (still kinda sucks with a scroll wheel, but damn, you've got no idea until you don't have one)

@samgai Yup. I've taken to just holding the scroll bar all the way down to cache a bunch of "pages" worth, then scroll back up to the top, so I can scroll down normally. Of course, that's only workable because I've got 16GiB of RAM in this computer.
