Also I would note that this place is super diverse. More diverse than anti gun people would stereotype it as. Plenty, plenty of black people, Asians. I saw an (Asian) Indian family. Also some Latinos. Not counting me, in the past I've seen several jews at gun shows.It's not just the redneck cliche. Everyone loves guns.

Oh god, a Mossberg Shockwave! I keep seeing one at my local shooting range and when I see it, I get the meat l sweats. I think this is when I break down and buy one.See, it's a shotgun, but not legally because it doesn't have a stock. So it's legally just a "firearm". So it can have a barrel like 4 inches shorter than a normal shotgun. It's hard to control and super impractical, but it looks like so much fun to shoot.

@Marvin Glocks don't have safetys on them right? I was always curious how well it would shoot. May buy one eventually down the road..Yeah Beretta 92 FS is very nice. The kick-back is very manageable. It never jams and I've shot it probably about 30-40 times.. give or take.

Heh, nice trigger discipline.Yeah, they don't have a safety switch. Though I'm kinda glad for that, because I'm extra cautious around my glocks. If I ever buy like a 1911 or a beretta, I'll be glad that I started out with a glock.I won't ever accidentally Alec Baldwin anyone, y'know?Glocks are very middle of the road. They're like a honda. Reliable. Not super fancy, but also not super cheap either. Gets the job done.Since Bruen, I think I'll probably try to get my concealed carry permit in MD. Probably won't carry regularly, but it'll be nice to have.

@Marvin I'm going to get my concealed carry here too. I'm in SC.. I've been getting much better at my aim and shooting. Never ever owned a gun before.. but desperate times call for desperate measures. I feel better having it and knowing how to properly use it/clean it. It is a dangerous weapon but it's honestly only as dangerous as the person who wields it. You can never be too careful no matter where you are on this fucked up rock... get that gun and concealed carry permit

A few years ago, my sister's ex boyfriend stalked us. He was a prohibited purchaser (I think a few felony convictions), yet somehow he had a fucking arsenal. They were too full of donuts, I guess, to chase after him, so they let him run off into the night, free to terrorize us for another week before they picked him up at his sister's place.Now, Maryland continues to make it more and more of a pain in the ass for us law abiding citizens to defend ourselves. The police are incompetent and useless.My sister weighs like 80 pounds soaking wet. If he had ambushed her in the parking lot of her job, she'd be dead. Simple as.My sister also has a firearm now. We go to the range fairly often to practice.When I take my concealed carry class, she's going to take it with me.The people who vote for this nonsense live in comfy, safe suburbs or perhaps gated communities with armed guards. Not urban Baltimore with incompetent police.It's very frustrating.

I have two Ruger 10-22's. They're really nice guns. Big market for 3rd party parts, easy to clean/maintain, lots of useful upgrades. I have one with a nice classic wood stock and another with a more modern archangel stock.
