Blocking an instance where the government has created a public relations account does not "hide" anything from the government.Telling vulnerable people "its ok you are safe now, the government cannot see you, you are hidden" on a public social media protocol is lying. You are lying to vulnerable people. You are not their protector. You are leading them to their slaughter with false platitudes.

Anyway, I don't think these folks should apply *any* security patch that comes out of research here. The gubbermint could have tampered with it 🤐

"You're absolutely ridiculous, it's about making feds understand that they are *not* welcome at my door."And I'm sure the public relations intern for what is essentially the cybersecurity weather service is gonna be absolutely heartbroken they can't talk to voremyface.daddy and dot-cum.bubble.Meanwhile, you punished 31,000 people to show one (1) what's right. You go, girl.

@r000t Link to context please? Agreed. This is really odd, especially as the aforementioned government can likely compel the data to be handed over one way or another.

@crablabThe aforementioned government can also visit publicly facing profile pages, especially on an automated basis 🤣Like everyone's concerned about exploiting the server, demanding the admin hand over the database... nobody considers that they're posting publicly to a public network meant for public consumption! There's no such thing as "public except feds"
