There are apps and games I would to play with friends but people do not port them. So I had to install a proprietary backdoor-ridden spyware system made by a monopoly.

@frankie There are definitely some things I will change, but I wanted to know if you use any scripts or programs to customize Windows and make it less of a pain.

@kaea Adobe is a big one, and Gimp is sadly not that efficient for me, video editing is also a big one, and kdenlive is too difficult for me to use.

@ScumbagDog No I actually installed it on bare-metal, sadly my system is not powerful enough for VMs. When I built this PC, I was thinking of dual-booting Windows & Ubuntu so I got 2 hard drives. The extra storage is handy for VMs but this meant i had to skimp on the RAM so I wouldn't be over budget.

@oklomsy Hey, I don't.Windows is blatantly un-customisable. And I myself don't know any programming! :blobcatgiggle:I wrote a .bat file script to hibernate and another to restart the system, and added a custom shortcut to it. I felt elated with this! 😅 #Tehc
