i am using #tuxedo laptops for years and i love them.now i want to switch my main OS to fedora #silverblue. i've already tested it and it works well. APART from ONE very important detail: the tuxedo control center to regulate the CPU fan speed. it needs DKMS to install, but that's just impossible in fedora silverblue.@tuxedocomputers do you know any solution to this? is the tuxedo control center (and tuxedo-keyboard) maybe included into the mainline kernel soon?

@holy_borb Sorry to say, these components will not be included in the mainline kernel. Maybe this link helps: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/silverblue-dkms/19979. There is probably more on the subject on other related forums.

@tuxedocomputers alright, thanks for answering me and sharing that link :)may i ask why you decided to not include those into the mainline kernel?

@holy_borb It's mostly for economic reasons up to now: tuxedo-keyboard does not follow coding guidelines of mainline and rewriting would cost time which we prefer to invest into development of new features (both tuxedo-keyboard and overall tools, drivers, etc.)
