This has been my observation from my entire time on fedi and it has never changedYou canât be nuked off an instance, if you own the instance. It can get defederated, which sucks, but one doesnât lose ones account or have to be beholden to the policies of random admins. Not entirely anyway. This is the beauty of the fediverse. Anyone is absolutely free, if theyâre willing to put in the time and effort, to spawn their own instance and run it anyway they like. One cannot be kicked out of the space if one owns it. So, own it. If one wants to go down the path of their own instance, there are lots of people around who would likely be happy to answer questions.
