Ever since I found the right Linux distro I've felt so free whenever I use my computer. It's just the peace of mind I get from knowing exactly how everything works, plus the lack of spyware. This is why I switched to #Linux

@nexuscodez We must be the same person, because my first distro was Ubuntu and I had a horrible experience, second was Mint and had a less bad but still bad experience, and then I tried Fedora and holy shit I struck gold

@julove for me it was Ubuntu, popOS, and fedoraMy main problem with Ubuntu and it's derivatives is that because Ubuntu isn't bleeding edge it's not suitable for my development needsFedora fits perfectly however and I've stuck there ever since with me starting off on fedora 35 in 2022, a few months before fedora 36Ubuntu 20.04 was bad tho

@nexuscodez Funny thing is, I'm not a developer... The reason I switched was because Fedora was more stable for me (also because I hate snap packages, and it had better security)

@julove I forgot to mention those 2But the big one was developer dependencies, I needed the latest stuff so I don't have to deal with future problemsThe stability is amazingAnd the dnf package manage needs some configuration but it's overall great
